No, is the simple answer. This is because the original instrument did not have it either.
One of the beautiful things about the original instruments was their inherent limitations that encouraged artists to use them in new and innovative ways.
The Mellotron, with it's 8 second sound length and lack of sustain had to be played in a fashion that reacted to these limitations, and that led to creativity.
A partial workaround would be to MIDI remote control the Release slider, although the character of the sound changes slightly as the volume decreases towards the end of the Release time.

If you try to use a MIDI controller (using CC#7) to control the volume of the M-Tron standalone on Windows XP, M-Tron can lock up and then you must force it to quit.
In some cases, it even causes the computer to fail to recognize the sound card, which may require you to restart the computer.

Certain systems do not have two files that the M-Tron installer requires. The two missing files can be downloaded here.
http://www.gmediamusic.com/Downloads/MTronSystemFiles.zip
Please un-zip the a folder, open it and put the two files in your Windows/System32 folder. Once you have done this the M-Tron will install as expected.

You need to move the A, B, C Selector to the A position by grabbing the left side of the switch and moving it from the default C position. You can see this in a video here.

Depending on which version of the M-Tron you have installed, in Pro Tools, if you are using the GForce synth inserted on an Instrument Track or an Aux Track, you must do the following:
1. Make sure the I/O View option is checked in whatever window you are in (Edit or Mix) in Pro Tools.
2. In the I/O section of your Pro Tools track, assign the "audio input" of the track to an assignment on your audio interface. Now you can click the keys on the GForce user interface and they should depress.
3. Turn up the volume fader on the track. Instrument and Aux tracks in Pro Tools have their channel faders turned down to zero by default.
If you have inserted the GForce synth on an Aux Track or an Audio Track, you will also have to create a MIDI track, and in the I/O section set the output of the MIDI track to the GForce synth on the desired MIDI channel.
If you need further help with this, please look at our video tutorial here.
